HPAW returns from its summer holidays with a brand new Metroid adventure. It may have a new different format but make no mistake, this is a Metroid game. It’s packed full of so much Metroid fan service, and truly bridges Super Metroid to Metroid Fusion.

HPAW is back from the dead as a zombie to eat all your brains! Wait no, let’s try that again. HPAW is back to KILL some zombies or as I like to say trimming the hedge, thinning the numbers.

WorldGone Awry brings his real life zombie killing experiences to the HPAW recording studio to give us a hand with Left 4 Dead 2. Although we may have lost Kaisuke to the zombie horde, Nw Striker is here to lend us a hand. So enjoy this feature length episode where more than 2,400 zombies lose their lives, again.

First all all, the things we went through to bring you this marathon, delay after delay, technical problems and DRM. But we did it and its done!

This May long weekend the HPAW cast + WorldGone Awry (yes that’s right) take on the single player campaign of Splinter Cell: Conviction for the PC and Xbox 360 (although in retrospect, only the 360 version is worth playing). This marathon will be delivered via 6 ~hour long parts in HD and SD (for iPods, iPhones, Android Phones, and why not, PSP’s!). Without further ado we give you the Splinter Cell: Conviction Marathon!

HPAW is back with one last episode before our Splinter Cell: Conviction Marathon, God of War 3 for the PS3. Joining a full cast this week is Nw Striker and WorldGone Awry as we take a 2 hour look at the start of God of War 3.

The violence is high, Kratos is angry and I’ve never seen crazier Greek mythology!

HPAW returns with another new episode. This time the rain is heavy, the mood just right, a near perfect execution of story telling. Heavy Rain is this weeks focus and although we have a slow start (first encounter episode) the game really drew me in. We have a full cast (and a guest, kinda) so enjoy the start of Heavy Rain!

Now that the Olympics are over (Go Canada Go!) and the Mass Effect 2 marathon is behind us, we can continue our 2010 season. This week we bring you the first official RTS game featured on HPAW and my new personal favorite, Supreme Commander 2 for the PC (also available on Xbox 360).

This game has large maps, a large unit cap and some of the coolest, most crazy matches ever. I won’t try to describe it anymore so just watch the episode to see it all in action (note: I don’t make any claims to being good at it). We have a full cast and a special guest from way over there!

This week Teclis brings in Assassin’s Creed 2 for the Xbox 360 and shows us how much the game has changed and evolved since the original. We have a full cast and both Nw striker and WorldGone Awry for this episode, so enjoy the first episode filmed in 2010!

We may end up canceling our Modern Warfare 2 marathon because of low interest, a multilayer episode is still planned for the future. If you still want to see a marathon please let us know!

HPAW kicks off its new 2010 season in the last few minutes of 2009. This episode we look at a fan requested episode Batman: Arkham Asylum. New art, new music and even new video encoding settings; we have everything except for Biske (but we do have WorldGone Awry). We have received some concerns about our lack of updates lately. I’d like you you all to know we are not dead or canceling HPAW or anything crazy. We have, however, been very busy until recently with final exams, new jobs and Christmas mayhem.

Starting after Christmas (hopefully before New Years but don’t hold youe breath unless your Michael Phelps) we have a great line up of games coming up on HPAW including some of the suggestions we have received and of course we have not forgotten about our Modern Warfare 2 Marathon.

We are entering a new year, a new season of HPAW with new artwork and new music. Look forward to it!
