This week Teclis brings in Assassin’s Creed 2 for the Xbox 360 and shows us how much the game has changed and evolved since the original. We have a full cast and both Nw striker and WorldGone Awry for this episode, so enjoy the first episode filmed in 2010!

We may end up canceling our Modern Warfare 2 marathon because of low interest, a multilayer episode is still planned for the future. If you still want to see a marathon please let us know!

HPAW kicks off its new 2010 season in the last few minutes of 2009. This episode we look at a fan requested episode Batman: Arkham Asylum. New art, new music and even new video encoding settings; we have everything except for Biske (but we do have WorldGone Awry). So sit back and enjoy the last days of the holidays with HPAW and Batman!

We have received some concerns about our lack of updates lately. I’d like you you all to know we are not dead or canceling HPAW or anything crazy. We have, however, been very busy until recently with final exams, new jobs and Christmas mayhem.

Starting after Christmas (hopefully before New Years but don’t hold youe breath unless your Michael Phelps) we have a great line up of games coming up on HPAW including some of the suggestions we have received and of course we have not forgotten about our Modern Warfare 2 Marathon.

We are entering a new year, a new season of HPAW with new artwork and new music. Look forward to it!

Welcome to another (on schedule!) HPAW episode. This week we feature a “co-op” Mario game for the Wii. Co-op really is a relative term but the fun is there no matter what.

Unfortunately Biske was unable to join us this week but we were once again able to get both WorldGone Awry and Nw Striker in studio for this new crazy co-op Mario game. A few announcements were made at the end of the episode so make sure you watch the whole thing (or take advantage of our players seeking ability and skip there). As a reminder this is a Wii title so there will be no HD version of the episode.

You heard the possibility of a Tekken 6 episode and it’s true Biske was able to get a copy of the game for us to play. Once again we have a full cast along with WorldGone Awry and Nw Striker.

Also note that you can now seek to any place in the video in our player. But remember that the HD version just looks so nice.

I will be preforming some tests on the HPAW server over the next week, expect downtime, strange errors and all manors of strangeness.

Well we heard your disappointment in the lack of Firefight in our ODST marathon and originally we had planned to include it in our marathon. However technical issues resulted in the marathon ending much later than planned and the removal of the Firefight section.

To make up for this we present a Firefight featured episode with special guests WorldGone Awry and Nw Striker along with a full cast.

Did anyone mention HPAW Retro? No I don’t mean old games, I mean old cast. That’s right we have Nw Striker AND WorldGone Awry in the studio for this special expansion. I say special expansion because a lot of what I saw during the marathon wasn’t traditional Halo 3. What I saw was a mix of Halo, Metroid Prime and Star Wars Republic Commando.

What about details? Well we have a 6 person cast consisting of Mempf, Teclis, Kaisuke, Biske, Nw Striker and WorldGone Awry. This is a start to finish marathon however there were some technical issues that screwed up the order a little, more on this later. We played two person Co-op on two different Xbox’s (no split-screen) with Nw Striker playing on the recording screen.
