Great episode guys, I’m not so sure about Fable II because I’ve seen gameplay of it and I’m not really much of a fan of World of Warcraft-like games, but a Far Cry 2 episode sounds ok. I don’t like the HD at all because on youtube the videos run at like 2fps (Frames per second) which is really annoying, the audio works perfect it’s just the video

I’ve seen some Fable 2 gameplay. Oh when you start the game there is an achievement to get at the begining I think that you must kick like 10 chickens or something like that. Can’t wait for the marathon.

Two things to consider are the length of downloading and uploading, and the amount of space they take up on the computer. I would find a middle ground to stay on. Improve the videos, but don’t go to an extreme that overtaxes your resources.

I just wanted to tell World not to take stuff like the debacle in India lightly. I’m talking about the comment he said during the first part of the Dead Space episode. Now I don’t know if WGA was joking, but nonetheless that comment struck home. I’m Indian myself, and I live in America, but my dad was in India visiting family, down in Mumbai, and he was nearly killed in the attacks. I agree with Nilloc2468 only do HD videos if you are doing a video less than 8 minutes long cause doing a whole episode (30+ minutes) of HD footage would just be too much for you guys to upload and it will take too long for us to download/stream the HD video

while my Pc itself is designed for HD input and output performance, (excluding my monitors ). i think having SD videos with a good bitrate of 1024 or higher will suffice.

of course recording at this level of quality is ludicrous but in all honesty i think you should raise the quality of your videos a bit,it seems each of your one hour videos have been about 260-380 megabytes except for maybe gtaIV where all the parts were pushing 500 but im perfectly alright with another 100MB per video all the time if it will raise the quality enough to be able to read in game text without squinting when i switch to full screen

Perhaps you could turn the game volume up on the recording sometimes it can be fairly hard to hear, and if I turn the volume up on my computer your voices are to load.

I think that there should be more involvement with the community in the episodes. When an online game is being featured, you could arrange with a handful of forum members the date & time for them to log on, so that they can play co-operatively or competitively alongside the HPAW crew.

How about a new team of mods that will scan the forums and look for infractions in the rules when the regular mods are not on. But if you don’t want to do that just improve the chat where you can see the people on the chat so you don’t join the chat to see who’s on the chat. Or put a bigger limit on the characters for the signatures even slightly.

I think that HPAW should beta a live stream. I know on previous episodes, Mempf says that it is really difficult, but justin.tv has made a tutorial about capturing your video games. This is just a suggestion, but I think that it will be rather cool, because you can take questions, or shout outs from the chatroom. I know that this is a big improvement, but you can beta it to see how it works. Hope you take this into thought, and thank you for giving your fans say about what should change.

what about downloadable HD (1080i) podcasts & marathons for better quality and sound, maybe expensive but its a major improvement from MP4 high quality videos.

Hello. Just found your site. I like what you fellows do, showing off what these games offer.

While the experience is enjoyable, I find myself killing the show’s sound because one person in particular keeps repeating the phrases, “right in the fucking dome,” “dome him,” and related uninspired and repetitive language (e.g. fuck, fuck, fucking, fucker, fuck).

The broadcast would be so much more enjoyable if this individual were prevented from contributing such “commentary” to future marathons.

i noticed you reduced the quality by half. i seriously think you should stick to the 500mb per hour format. every time world does a quick turn it gives me a headache watching the pixilated squares, and reading the screen was next to impossible even on my downstairs big screen. other than that good stuff so far.

The misspellings and redundant sentences aside, try to use more commas and semicolons to break up your sentences. Also, try to replace some of your nouns and verbs with bigger words. College teachers always appreciate those
And if you can, try to reference some of the AI demonstrated in videogames, such as Army of Two. You know, how when you’re down, but he chooses to not save you….But if you use things that you are knowledgable about, then you can better elaborate your ideas.

the paper was okay, it needs a little proofreading, but your body only contains a little more than 2,800 words. I do not know if the bibliography can be added into the word count, but at NIU, if the paper is 3000 words, there better be 3000 words in the body of the paper.

Aw man, my first round match against Biske wasn’t shown! (that was actually my favorite out of all the matches, just because of the pwnage I delivered)

I’ve also learned I need to make use of other Fox attacks rather than his side and down smashes.

finally decided to make an account here just to put forward this thought,if you do decide to use torrents for future marathons (which i think is a brilliant idea btw) will you still be using that space on your server? idk exactly how you have it set up,but anyway a thought i had is if you wanted you could embed your own flash vids for the streaming versions of the videos to avoid having to split up parts for youtube or just to avoid any other problems it or other video hosting sites might give you
