These marathons normally range from 6-12 hours, one of them however lasted Twenty-Six Hours! We got “3 strikes” on our YouTube account and automatically suspended. We saw this coming a couple of weeks ago and started to make preparations in case this occurred. We will not let this affect HPAW as we now have our own video player that should work for most people.

We are currently in the process of making our older content available in this new player and everything up to and including the Resident Evil 5 marathon is already available. Your comments on this post will help us decide which marathons/episodes to do next. We do not expect this to be a short process and it may be quite some time before all videos are available in the new player.

In other news, the Crysis marathon has been completed with the release of the combined Part 9 & 10. So please check out the front page and try the new video player for videos going back to RE5. I need help in determining what filesize (which relates directly to video quality) we should use to appeal to the largest number of people. We currently have a guideline not to pass the 1.5GB/video mark. The main considerations are how much disk space people have (if they can store it), their internet download rate (how fast they can get the episode), and their internet download cap (how much they can download in a month). So please answer our simple poll so we can figure this out and deliver the highest quality to the most people.

Hello and welcome to a special HPAW project. As some of you know I (Mempf for you new people) am a huge F.E.A.R. fan (enough to use the .’s most of the time apparently). And although I was initially a little disappointed with F.E.A.R. 2, the more I think about it it really is a fantastic game.

So what is FEAR M.E.? It is a marathon of sorts. Not of our traditional kind though. For F.E.A.R. 2 a group of people would ruin the mood and immersion the game so well creates. I will however be using the HPAW microphone to capture my feedback and comments of the story alone with other things.

I do plan to play through the whole game (Monolith I promise this will only make more sales!) however my time frame for completing this is currently unknown. Oh and FEAR M.E. means FEAR the Mempf Experience so please enjoy.

I know that I’m starting to sound like Little Kuriboh which is why I refuse to give even a rough estimate on when the marathon will be up. With the Christmas Break now over I will be trying my hardest to get this marathon underway.

In other news I am proud to announce todays HPAW game is Super Paper Mario for the Wii.

We have upgraded our forums to phpbb3 and would like some feedback on it at this time.

Please note that there are not any themes available for it at this time as it is still in beta but as the forum system we use becomes more mature and themes become available we will update the forum so it has some more style.

On the other hand both the administrators and you the users will have many new and exciting features to play with and as such we have opened a new forum for you all to post in for testing these new features (please note it will be deleted in a few days).

If you guys do not like the new forum we can always fall back on the old one.
